How do we make an XCM listing for these super long flights knowing we’re only able to occupy the FA seat on that kind of international flight? Or is this a rare instance where we can’t jumpseat on delta internationally?
"XCM": Extra (Working) Crew Member, eg: LCA, LVP, New Hire Obs. No taxes charged.
"JSA": Jumpseat Authority, ie: A nonrev, taxes charged.

I’ve tried to research this in the contract and FOM. I haven’t been able to find anything definitive, so I’m going to reach out to the Jumpseat committee and get back to you.

Default PB Days Over the Calandar year

How hard is it to use banked PB days once the new year starts? I believe we can use them Jan - Mar with some additional hoops to jump through/restrictions. Can anyone elaborate on the basics?

Thanks Scoop

Yes you can still use them in Jan - Mar.

SRH has good summary of all things PB day related.

It's exactly the same process as far as using them to drop trips/days of reserve.

The banked PB days will convert to SUPP VACA days on your timecard and they will be assigned to a vacation during the vacay bid process but if you use PB days in JAN-MAR they will use those days first (assuming you have additional banked PB days that you earned in JAN/FEB) unless you fill out the form on DELTANET to prevent them from using SUPP days and use PB days, but this is not much of an issue as you have to bid a line to use the SUPP VACA days so it's hard (impossible) to earn banked PB days in months you hold a line.

In the past, I've had the most success being able to drop high value trips with PB days in FEB, so I've been through this process in a few different years..

Yeah, it’s nice when a reasonable wager (1% snap) pays off, even if AA let us down. I continue to be impressed and thankful for the excellent work our NC did. On balance, they knocked it out of the park.

Thanks a lot Fangs, while I completely agree, those comments are about to derail any civil discussions on this thread for the next 6-9 pages
