I bet they blocked APDs for the holiday, but coverage was positive so PDs worked. Definitely a scenario I hadn't thought of. Will always put both in now 😂

I checked the SRH and could not find an answer.
I updated a WS request at 13:20 today, it was a generic request with no qualifiers for flying from the 11th thru 13th.
At 14:30 a GS was awarded for a two day trip on the 12th and 13th.
I know they ran it manually but thought since I had the request in for a little over an hour they would have looked to see if anyone wanted a WS before it went green. Any thoughts?

The coverage process could have already started and just taken a long time. I had a GS once that took nearly an hour for them to send my TC Award after I had accepted it initially.

On a converse (obverse?) note, I made big $$ cashing out and going negative right before the BK pay rates were established. Pulled it out at $156/hr and replaced it at $88/hr. All about timing.

$5440 by my calculation. That's great but it has nothing to do with what I was saying. Between RRPY and additional pay I will have 31 hours, reserve guarantee is 72 so at the end of the month I'll have 103 hours of pay but can't bank any of it. I'd like to withdraw it at a higher rate, cover 5 hours towards a GS, buy vacation days, or pay myself during a month with a PD for some QOL. But, I can't.

They almost never check again once a TC report is generated. If you see something you want and throw in a slip for it you can always call them to have them update the TC report. I've found they will usually do this, unless of course they've already started the actual coverage process.

Plus, management knows they can trade tiny items like that for big pieces of our contract as long as DH and C44 are around.
