Most likely. And then CS made up some BS about the “why” being due to “not enough 2-day reserve coverage”.

So this comes back to my original question of what can cause “same day” swaps to be declined. The entire month of July is “black”
and short reserve coverage. However, I was swapping a 2 day trip for two 1 day trips over the same two day period. Is there a legit reason, per the PWA, that could cause this swap to be denied?

Is it possible one of the trips was a Q trip? Maybe it was and turned blue during PCS allowing the other guy to swap into it?

One quick correction - it is 5 days not 6.

Also, you can bid your CQ golden days months in advance. You don't have to wait until the popup alerts you to enter them.

Also worth noting, once CQ golden days are on your schedule, they are cemented in place.

I had a situation where I bid golden days around a vacation 3 months in advance. As my vacation month got closer my plans changed. I needed to slide my vacation and wanted to bid CQ over those golden days. No soup for you. I said I’ll drop the golden days altogether that month. Nope, too bad, so sad.

Did you enter the add trips vertically or horizontally in icrew?

Just went back and looked. They were entered vertically. Which I’m now assuming means it was done incorrectly. However, when talking to CS on the phone initially when they trying to figure out why it was denied, they verbally stated that the request had been entered correctly.

And since this is in the “latest and greatest”
thread, is there any talk of revamping, updating, improving, or replacing icrew?

Yes, set to be released in Q2.

Sadly you can't count on them to know. I've recently experienced quite a few instances that prove that point. Lots of inexperience in scheduling.

And as a relatively new pilot here, I didn't know either. Lots of improvement needed for icrew in my opinion.
