At the time though, that wasn't yet the case. I agree with you that it's a setback, but it's not too late to reverse course. How the next few months play out will be critical in my view. Recall votes in C44, filling the C81 vacancy, elections next year (I'm not sure for which councils specifically), potentially a new pilot base opening and I guess a corresponding council(?) and section 6 negotiations right around the corner...

There's just so many pilots interested in improving or maintaining our quality of life (and work life!) that it's not unfathomable for that agenda to be pushed forward. I'm an optimist at heart though so maybe the next few years will beat that out of me.

What value does real time API access give us without real time analysis? This enforcement tool needs to be available the moment access goes live. We have waited too long and consumed enough negotiating capital to get it, now what? Failure to plan is a plan for failure. DH is the sole cause and responsible party and C44 holds the key to keeping him and his failure in place for management to continue to exploit.

Default IVDs

Quick questions on IVDs which I have used successfully before, but I don't remember the template being as it is. The "From Vacation" template has two separate starting and ending dates on the same line? This doesnt make sense to me but I must have used it in the past. I just filled out the first Begining and Ending date and left the second one blank - does this seem correct.

Thanks Scoop

Yes. I filled the form out last month exactly as you're describing and was able to convert to IVD without issue.

The form just allows you to pull vacation days from up to two vacation periods to convert to IVDs.

If awarded a greenslip on reserve with the last day of the gs trip being an on call day…..can you move an x day onto that day and get greenslip credit and a full pb day after getting the gs?

8 Hours of sleep opportunity, not behind the door. If you will have to get dinner, that isn't sleep opportunity nor is the time it takes to get up and get ready

copy, do uou by chance know the min turn from block in to report the next day? With all the IT bafoonery they have us at 10:01 rest into a 4 leg day. I tried to find it but was unable, and would like some good ammo(7n31 or maybe m62) before i go toe to toe with the goons(aka scheduling)

10 hours is a min legal rest. But you also need 8 hours of sleep opportunity. If you can't get that in 10 hours, for whatever reason, you can and get show adjusted so that you have 8 hours of sleep opportunity.
