2012- added dozens of 76 seaters with the “sell” of parking 50/70 seaters. That did not happen on schedule. Pacific floor vs min weekly departures - not so good for DAL pilot 50% to 48.6 to 46% of block seats/miles/whatever they use this time remember any of these? |

Boog, back to my previous question to you. What exactly did you mean by your zoomie reference?
guys have their little quirks, as far as ”some” military guys, the AFA folks “sometimes” seem a little wound tight. Just a few, quirks like all of us…..breezy is busy now arguing with some flight attendant on a pilot message board So I think I’m not far off. |

Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk LAX 24x, JFK 17x, SFO 12x, ATL 9x, HNL 8x, SEA 6x, IAD 5x, BOS 3x, ORD 3x, DFW 3X, GUM 7x. 97x total Delta weekly to Korea; SEA 5x, ATL 5x, DTW 3x. 13x total *Weekly flights for June 2022. Korean and Asiana are merging, perhaps a few future redundancies. Did not include Korean Air cargo, goes to many US cities but couldn't find frequencies. I estimate several daily. For gauge, KE/OZ use 747s, A380s and 777-300s vs our 330-900s and 350-900s. Yes Asia demand is down, and our routes our down. So is Korean too, they used to have more US freq and routes to DEN, LAS, IAH, MIA. Korean made a 1.2B profit in 2021. DL owns 11% share. |

I remember many of these negotiations however I never saw any linkage to scope for pay. Pay in most negotiations trades in a very narrow band. Pay is also often the last item agreed upon long after scope has been completed. In the current case scope is completed first. When pay is done will you say we traded it? When we had no scope and started negotiations for scope restrictions did we take smaller pay raises in exchange for scope?
I'm glad the most important section *could* be settled first. That *could* make things way simpler later if we get the rest in an TA. That said, This Scope IAP/TA will have to stand on its own. That makes it even less likely to be subject to concessions offset by "eye watering" pay rates or another triple dip scam for a handful of us. That said, the company wanted this for a reason. It could still be all gains and no concessions, or it could be full of loopholes. Yeah I know, what if they offered every pilot 10 Billion dollars to allow one additional ASK, Shirley we'd agree to that, right... |
Anything new on this?
Wife just booked a ticket to a secondary city in Europe through work on DAL. Not a single leg is on us. Looks like we generate good numbers as an Air France ticket agent though! |
