Its complex and there is a process, but the union has put out good information on it. I’m not going to rehash because I don’t want to provide any inaccuracies.

Tried to vote too, nothing popped up, also a probie. That may be why.

As was mentioned, probies cannot vote. I’ll add that you will still be ineligible to vote even if you come off probation during the voting window.

Been lurking here for years. First post for me - it’s that important.

Just voted YES.

30 days seems excessive. My only guess it still gives the company time to come around.

Also, check out the “Engage” podcast the MEC puts out. It’s available on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, DALPA website, etc.

It is VERY informative, and goes in depth in a long-ish format for things like this. The most recent one yesterday was specifically about the Strike Authorization Vote.

Kind of fun to see the antics of 2020 reap their rewards this quickly. While the hats may lead to frustration, don’t get bent at other pilots, same team. I think our solidarity come through with this vote. This management team has pushed a group that wanted to drink a bit of koolaid to a group that is as agitated as I’ve seen since America West/US Airways but this time we are mad at the right source. In this leadership’s infinite wisdom they have pushed this group through a fatiguing summer, emphasized PSC is ending, low balled our contract after saying we are ready to make a deal, all in time for the holidays.

Predictions are stupid, but this one is too much fun. November shows cracks in FA ranks. Pilots step off the gas on GS due to company continuing to play games. ALPA is in the news with the word STRIKE in bold letters. A week before Xmas an early storm system moves from MSP to the the northeast, maybe a small system hits FL/ATL. FA commuters realize the gravity of commuting nonrev, mass call outs, some on the spot quitting. Starts the cascade. Pilots unconsciously stop trying to help the operation, can’t commute due to cancellations from FA issues. The house of cards comes to its logical conclusion. The ill will created in 2020 manifests in a holiday to remember.
