Yes vote here!

FNiner 09-30-2022 06:01 AM

Nothing populates in the empty space under the text for me. Is it because I’m on probation still?

Jodaaddy 09-30-2022 06:02 AM

Couldn’t vote yes fast enough.

capncrunch 09-30-2022 06:04 AM

I voted yes!

Myfingershurt 09-30-2022 06:05 AM

Tried to vote too, nothing popped up, also a probie. That may be why.

Breadcream 09-30-2022 06:07 AM

Why do we need a whole month to get our votes in. Make it 10 days, send out a crap-ton of emails and reminders, and let’s get this thing into 2nd gear.

HelloNeighbor 09-30-2022 06:10 AM

Another yes vote

VOTED!!! BS, LET’S MAKE IT 48 HOURs to get to14,000!!!! CALL ALL YOUR BUDS!!!

Tailhookah 09-30-2022 06:27 AM

There’s only 1 way to vote…. Otherwise you’re proving your ignorance. Pass it on in your cockpits. A no vote or not voting will hurt our collective profession. We are leading the industry on this contract. A rising tide raises all boats.

TSioux55 09-30-2022 06:31 AM

In favor!!

24Whiskey 09-30-2022 06:36 AM

Probably so Jason can get his coveted title of ALPA National President. BOD I think is later in OCT.

How many guys are gonna vote in favor, while in their hotel room on a green slip?

Amish Pilot 09-30-2022 06:47 AM

Easiest vote ever! Yes! Yes and Yes!

Probationary pilots are not eligible to vote. Thank you both for wanting to.

biigD 09-30-2022 06:48 AM

Go get 'em, guys!

I’ve given up on our group. Because we can’t actually see how abysmal the offer was from the company it will be business as usual. Keep propping up the company with record greenslips until we actually do catch up with hiring and any leverage we had is gone. And then ***** that we aren’t getting a contract fast enough. It’s mind boggling and infuriating.

IFlyHeavies 09-30-2022 06:55 AM

Tried to vote but I didn’t have a vote button. On probation. Looks like there’s only about 12500 pilots eligible to vote if all of us in probation aren’t allowed.

If you get off probation within the next 30 days you’ll be able to vote…. Vote open for 30 days.

The MEC may be unable, legally to divest the details of the offer. NMB rules from the mediator.

Repeated for emphasis, especially for those new to the profession or from a non-union background.

If the vote is less than 99% in favor we lose vital negotiating capital.

billpayer 09-30-2022 07:15 AM

Another yes

****** yes. Anything less is shameful. There are 0 excuses. FUPM

Gunfighter 09-30-2022 07:23 AM

We need "I voted" stickers in the crew rooms.

Nantonaku 09-30-2022 07:27 AM

Like someone else said I can last longer than the company. We may not want it to happen but I’m ready should the time come.

Milk Man 09-30-2022 07:31 AM

Can someone please explain the process of a strike. So we vote yes to strike then what are the sequence of events thereafter? And just because we vote in favor of strike, is their a process then in which it has to be approved?

Iceberg 09-30-2022 07:33 AM

Its complex and there is a process, but the union has put out good information on it. I’m not going to rehash because I don’t want to provide any inaccuracies.

As was mentioned, probies cannot vote. I’ll add that you will still be ineligible to vote even if you come off probation during the voting window.

livenwild 09-30-2022 07:40 AM

Been lurking here for years. First post for me - it’s that important.

Just voted YES.

I will look on ipad. Thanks

thinkstraight 09-30-2022 07:48 AM

30 days seems excessive. My only guess it still gives the company time to come around.

Food 09-30-2022 08:00 AM

Long time lurker

Never posted

This is my first and last

YES vote here.

Also, check out the “Engage” podcast the MEC puts out. It’s available on Spotify, Pandora, Apple Music, DALPA website, etc.

It is VERY informative, and goes in depth in a long-ish format for things like this. The most recent one yesterday was specifically about the Strike Authorization Vote.

HercTank 09-30-2022 08:07 AM

Voted YES.

RunFast 09-30-2022 08:08 AM

I’d love to actively see how the vote is going as they come in. 🤞🏼it’s a flood of “yes!”

My yes is in!

Gooner 09-30-2022 08:21 AM

Kind of fun to see the antics of 2020 reap their rewards this quickly. While the hats may lead to frustration, don’t get bent at other pilots, same team. I think our solidarity come through with this vote. This management team has pushed a group that wanted to drink a bit of koolaid to a group that is as agitated as I’ve seen since America West/US Airways but this time we are mad at the right source. In this leadership’s infinite wisdom they have pushed this group through a fatiguing summer, emphasized PSC is ending, low balled our contract after saying we are ready to make a deal, all in time for the holidays.

Predictions are stupid, but this one is too much fun. November shows cracks in FA ranks. Pilots step off the gas on GS due to company continuing to play games. ALPA is in the news with the word STRIKE in bold letters. A week before Xmas an early storm system moves from MSP to the the northeast, maybe a small system hits FL/ATL. FA commuters realize the gravity of commuting nonrev, mass call outs, some on the spot quitting. Starts the cascade. Pilots unconsciously stop trying to help the operation, can’t commute due to cancellations from FA issues. The house of cards comes to its logical conclusion. The ill will created in 2020 manifests in a holiday to remember.
