The union's ALPA podcast goes into it in their latest episode. Definitely worth listening to.

Easy yes….but I also guarantee you won’t see a single person here say they voted no

Uh, excuse me, no. I’m still on probation for another 30 hours, and I want to vote.

OOfff 09-30-2022 09:50 AM

Obviously yes.

If the vote is less than 99% in favor we lose vital negotiating capital.

educate me on why 99% is required. Doesn’t a small percentage of our group have upper management written all over them?

say we get 90%….that’s terrible?

1Taco 09-30-2022 09:51 AM

yes!

Does anyone know of anyone who voted no?

I believe if you are on probation when the vote opens you will be unable to vote.

Trip7 09-30-2022 09:52 AM

I know this is mainly for roorah comradery and all that, but isn't this vote going to be 99.9% yes? Next time is now. Voted Yes

Delta’s capital is better invested in more stock buyback schemes, foreign airline subsidization, C-suite bonuses, FA uniform unveiling parties, and perhaps the purchase of another refinery or two. Now stop complaining and get back to work driving the plane.

If you had brought up Velvet I might’ve been a NO too, but I’m still a Yes.

Flyweight 09-30-2022 10:24 AM

Happy probie here.

I am not really ready to strike but I thank you guys for voting yes! I would if I could.

Delta is the best place I have ever worked, and I want to keep it that way.

It’s a different airline than it was 5 years ago. If you only knew…

DelDah Capt 09-30-2022 10:27 AM

Hillbilly 09-30-2022 10:36 AM

The foreign airline subsidies are the biggest outrage. They could have done all kinds of good with that cash, such as building origami airplanes or God forbid sharing it with shareholders and employees.

Aviator147 09-30-2022 10:40 AM

Slaps (THAT WAS EASY) button.

In Favor

I do not, but if I had to guess they’re based in ATL and fly the ER, formerly flew the -88. You know the type.

I can’t vote yes, but I’d vote yes if I could!

Delta delivered a proposal that would keep our commitment to have industry-leading pilot compensation in terms of pay, profit sharing and retirement. ALPA’s mischaracterization of our proposal in their latest Chairman’s letter is disappointing rhetoric.

oh, well when you put it that way…

no idea, but that’s the “negotiating update” from the company. Classic.

We are in the mediated negotiations section.

On probations, but would be yes otherwise! Thanks to all those who can & do vote yes.
