I agree with you here. The single breasted cheapens whatever “brand” look we have. (Many here don’t care, but management sure does.) And it’s way more than the hat they want to keep despite 75% not liking it.

It always amazes me to see the how the private jet guys dress when we have them aboard. Much more casual/comfortable and they are hauling around much higher value customers than we are. We dress like Captain Edward Smith to haul pax in leggings, bikini tops and pajamas.
Couldn't agree more. Meanwhile Ed gets to wear sneakers virtually everywhere he goes. I don't understand why the pilots have to look like we're stuck in the 1950s. Can't wait for a foldable hat.

Tsk. Tsk. That's a very non-inclusive statement. Apparently you've forgotten one of the goals of the "new" pilot uniform.

I think trip intended to say lapel collection (previously male) vs non-lapel collection (previously female) since that’s apparently the new terminology.

What does previous gender have to do with my current uniform choice?

That’s how they are labeled in the uniform survey

Are they assigning one in indoc now?
It used to be OK to say ladies and gentlemen on the PA. Do we now say lapel and non-lapel?

Ummm... Delta's customer base is pretty premium and well dressed for the most part. Have you ever ventured over to SWA/Frontier/Spirit gates? It's like a whole different world
