United guy here. Glad we aren't the only ones. Written up a few. If you have sunglasses on and takeoff into the sun, you're much better looking out the window.

Similar issues with our oldest 319’s/320’s/321’s at AAL. Very annoying. We recently got word from the company that as the planes go into a Heavy Check, they’ll finally be retrofitted with LCD’s. Huge job though, so they say it’ll be years to complete the conversion for all of them.
