It took me over an hour. Very clunky process. Lots of steering towards the investment elections (it's still saying my "enrollment is not complete.") No way to select additonal coverarage. I had to fish around for a confirmation page.

Definitely not ready for prime-time. But not surprising.

I selected additional coverage, via Benefits Direct, during open enrollment and have completed my EOI exam.

I selected additonal as well during OE. What was disconcerting was that I didn't see nor could I select it on the MetLife website. Only after I fished around for a confirmation page could i see it.

Update: I went back and fussed with again today. The process worked as described in the email. You select how much you want to contribute to the investment portion or you select to decline investment. Even if you select to decline investment portion you are still forced to make elections. Enter beneficiary info and acknowledge the legal mumbo jumbo and you're done.

When you choose "Decline to invest at this time" right below it it tells you that you still have to select investment choices even though not actually investing, then it sends you on your way. Very easy process, took less than 10 minutes.

There's nothing too extreme, but nothing really exciting either.

Is the website making anyone else print off, sign, and mail in an enrollment form to finish?

I just e-signed at the end of the process to complete it. You can then save a pdf of the whole package if you desire but I saw no requirement to print or mail anything.

Completed actions and saved summary package two days ago. Went back in today to check on a detail and I still have an alert and action required banner at the top of my profile page. Anyone else who has completed signup have the same experience?

When I clicked on the alert banner it took me to the beginning of the signup process. That is definitely not right.
