If this is my 3-step mission+ technique….will it need to be modified once the paper flight plan is discarded?
1) scribble the release sig & ask FO if I can scribble for him (or he can scribble on my iPad) 2) other documents; open older flight plan format 3) open inflight tracking once airborne |

How will they know it was you that certified it? The kid that just visited the flight deck to pee in your seat and leave lice in your hat also certified your restfulness.

It's not gaslighting. It's a genuine question. I genuinely want to know what is being highlighted and why? And trying to see if maybe there are ways to adjust once paper goes away.
Im just starting to think I might not even do a lineup card anymore and that will solve the problem. |
I'll just wait for the USB-D mind meld jack install. This physical body is becoming obsolete. Gesturing, swiping and poking at a screen is soooo this decade.

You're literally the one unlocking your ipad!! You're the reason why Delta is stuck in the 1980s. I bet you love hitting F12 to save.

Honest question. What are you highlighting?
Most of what I currently highlight helps me not miss things during the FMS load: ETP point coordinates in a field of coordinates, step-climbs in a field of howgozit text, NOTAMS that I want to emphasize during brief or remember in 9 hours (I've got a great memory, but dang, is it short). Everyone has their technique. I use highlighting to emphasize things to which I want to draw attention. I agree that it needs to be added to M+. |

I highlight stuff on the HTML so it stands out. Much of the highlight focus is done for me in the way M+ categorizes things so I don't need AS much.

It should and I believe it will be coming. As far as the things you listed (can't speak to ETP) but step climbs are detailed on page one of flight prep. And NOTAMs can be designated with levels of importance which is effectively highlighting. I do understand that highlighting is key in the current product because nothing is filtered out or emphasized. And I know people have gotten used to going through and highlighting pretty much everything as a method of reviewing. I was just trying to see why people were highlighting to see if it was buried in the app and whether it can be pulled out for easier use. For example, the dashboard is hot garbage that should be a summary of literally everything you would need to know but it currently isn't. |
I give up. Haven't touched HTML to really force myself to get proficient. I know where everything is and I have a flow that works... and it's still a clunky piece of crap. Constantly tapping to find required information that could easily be on one screen.
NOTAM filtering will be just that... A filter. It won't improve the layout. It won't improve the general waste of space that M+ likes to utilize. Every page is full of wasted space. Seriously, who designed this? Who is making the improvements? I seems like they have one intern at Navblue and one at Delta running things. HTML isn't even that great... but it is definitely better than paper. The sad thing is I'd rather use paper than M+. I've filed my FCRs. Now I'm going back to HTML until the official cutover. |

How many flights have you done with it? For me it gets easier after every flight and I've only done around 5 with Mission Plus. It's got really good potential especially when the text is adjusted for better use of screenspace
