Some of us have been flying so long that we remember when "power management" meant airspeed, AOA, and thrust lever setting, now it means what percentage charge does your I-pad have. Scoop :D |

A previous poster mentioned the white lettering being bad. There is a fix for that right now. It is found on Deltanet by going to the EFB Dashboard and selecting the Mission+ app page and then the FAQ document. It involves activating an Accessibility feature and setting it to only affect Mission+. It essentially reverses Mission+ with regard to the Dark Mode. By putting Mission+ into Dark Mode, the background becomes white and the letters and numbers are given colors. Significantly improves the readability during daylight. When you turn on Dark Mode for the entire iPad, since Mission+ is reversed, it reverts to the black background version that is standard. So far, having the FO Airdrop his signature to me before I send the flight acceptance has been easy. I'm working on a list of issues/observations to put into an FCR at some point, but I really loathe filling those things out. For those with meaningful input and suggestions, please send them in feedback for the MP team. I happened to speak with a member of the team recently at the GO and they want all our feedback. The guy said they may not be able to design updates to address everything right away but it’s definitely noted. And the items which come up most often will be given priority. -Bo |

I really don’t mind it. It’s all the same info as the html FP, and I use the notification bubbles as a flow to go through all the info. Helps me to remember to go through every part of the FP even when I get distracted by other tasks.
Sure it needs improvement—and it will get it—but I think most of the complaints are a result of lack of familiarity rather than actual disadvantages vs our current methods. |

So far for me it's mission minus but at this point it's definitely operator minus as well.
