it is a stand alone app. The alternative to m+ would be getting emailed the flight plan. Since we can’t be obligated to check our email they could not move forward with that method and had to use a different method, mission +.
with that said it is my understanding mission plus has a lot more than just the flight plan, so I’m not sure the whole no email thing causing mission plus holds much water. I was trying to keep and open mind on this one and not judge DAL IT by their track record. As soon as I saw the 'airdrop flight plan signatures' method I knew we were in trouble though. |

Whoever was in charge of this failed. |

They could've saved themselves a lot of money and just made a Mission+ an app that receives and displays the html flight plan (and insulates it so features don't break every time a iPad update comes around). No need to require checking Co. email, just add it to the list of apps we use on the FD.

No, the app in the current iteration is not as good but there is a TON of potential in this that just isn't possible with keeping the old paper printout on the tablet. |

Got a big reroute the other night. A few minutes later, a notification bell in m+ had an “inflight release 2” with all kinds of updated info. Way less cumbersome than acars22 and associated paperwork. Point goes to m+

Have you guys noticed how it auto fills the nav log if location is enabled and you're flying directly over the point (not abeam)? Do you know if it sends this report to the company? I think it might because it only auto fills if my ipad is connected to the wifi.

Has anyone else been logged out yet, lost access to data and not been able to get it back because the plane’s wifi was out?
