We don't know that. The OP couldn't give an accurate account of what happened on the first interaction other than "something about maintenance." And he supposedly had all of his locks, locked but told on 3 different occasions that there was a roof leak, plumbing leak, some other leak. In that context, they likely said he needed to get up and move but he doesn't relay that information until he says the GM came into his room. I find it unbelievable that this was the first attempt to offer relocation. I don't believe that the hotel was just going to do maintenance around him while he was sleeping.

Does this cause you any quandaries?
Things I just wonder about.

When perusing possible matches on your dating app, do you ferret out the "docile" personality trait or the "insufferable" type of person? Insufferable can lead to friction because then you would both be the smartest 2 people in the room and you wouldn't be able to tell them anything. Docile, on the other hand, would get kinda boring after you have told them everything they need to know since there is virtually nothing that you aren't the smartest person in the world on.

From the OP, at the end of the first paragraph, then at the beginning of the second:
… I'm sure I slept through knocks and verbal announcements, but at 10:10 a..m I awoke to three people fully inside my room. I was too dopey to comprehend at first and all my reactions were instinctual. If in my bedroom at home this would not have ended well for the intruders. As I sat up bewildered, something was said about "hotel maintenance." I told them I was resting and they needed to get out, as I jumped out of bed naked (except for boxer-briefs) and ushered them to the door, which had the "do not disturb" sign displayed. I engaged 2 additional security devices that I had failed to utilize before. Back to sleep. The intrusions continued ... three unauthorized entries in the course of about an hour, the final one lead by the General Manager (that deadbolt-looking latch on the inside and the hinged loop and ball thingy don't work if management wants in).
I was told a different story each time, ranging from "roof leak" to "plumbing problem" to "emergency inspection." It was 70 degrees and clear skies - roof clearly not leaking. My toilet, shower and sinks worked great - no plumbing problem. The G.M. said I was subject to a mandatory relocation, to which I said I would allow people in my room once my daytime rest was complete, but he went an a rant about a need to evacuate immediately. I gave hotel staff a brief run-down on the safety impacts my job would suffer without my proper rest. Each time I had people enter my room I became increasingly agitated. I maintained my cool, until I didn't. On intrusion # 3, I told the G.M. he was invading my private space and to "get the hell out of my room." As he persisted with his B.S. story about the reason for the disturbance, I told him to "eff-off and leave me alone." Language I have never used in adult life to another human, aside from within a circle of friends, all in jest. His response was "I'm calling the police." I invited him to do so, although I assumed he was bluffing.

Like I said, we don't really have an accurate accounting of what happened. We don't know if a front desk employee was there to offer a different room or ask if about accomodations. They showed up, said something about maintenance and he told them to get out. Yes, it sucks they did it. No, we really don't know what happened as we can tell from the first interaction. Yes, he acted foolish in follow on interactions.
Like I said, I just don't believe random maintenance people were just going to be working on his room with him sleeping. And no, he didn't say it.

Like someone said above, just another annoying Smartest Person In The Room. Laugh and scroll like the rest of us do. One of the biggest clowns on this site and over 9000 posts to prove it. Zero credibility, just likes to argue and be contrarian.

CBreezy will never, ever, ever admit that she/he/it/they is wrong, so you're wasting bandwidth.

I put this in the same bucket as the spoiled brat passengers who are thrown off airplanes and try to claim to all the airline-hating blogs like all they were doing was sitting there minding their business when they were arbitrarily tossed.
If you don't like hearing my opinion, block me.

That was an intelligent, mature rebuttal until you got to this part. I won't block you, because I'm an adult. But I will continue to make fun of you for your contrarian, pedantic, redundant posts that everyone pretty much rolls their eyes when they read. I bet it's real quiet when you fly. Ever wonder why? Face it, you're one of the biggest clowns of this pilot group and nobody takes you seriously, because whatever the majority opinion is, you argue the opposite just to be contrary.
And the funniest part is that you and I actually agree on this one. The Captain acted stupidly.

I don't know if that's supposed to hurt my feelings or change my behavior but it did neither. I frankly do not care what you or any other pilot or pilot spouse thinks about me, in the least. I am just as okay with silence for 4 days as I am enthusiastic conversation. At the end of the day, I don't want or need to make work friends and, being a seniority system, don't need to kiss anyone's rear end to get ahead. I'll make the top pay rate regardless of what some random internet stranger thinks about me.
