I'm just curious now how many people aren't aware of this like me. And how much Delta is screwing saving by not paying for this stuff correctly? Oh well, profit sharing. Amirite?

This could end up being a couple thousand dollars over the years (x) all the unaware employees (+) all the big claim denials like the 50K that started the thread (=) ???

This. Delta makes "services" so hard to use that they think we won't bother. It's one of their biggest cost saving mechanisms. Think about the millions and millions they don't have to pay every year, since they self insure, because most employees don't bother to spend hundreds of man hours making phone calls and chasing things down.

Delta doesn't want to take care of any employees. They want everyone to shut up and row. Delta has always been America's largest plantation, and it always will be.

Yeah, profit sharing is a great narcotic to keep the masses quiet and calm.

Sooner everyone realizes this the better.

To what end? A class action suit, a mass complaint issue to affect change internally, a FA, customer service, and ramp union, or just you getting to say "I told you so." Activate or potentate? What are you trying to say.

Are any of you West Coast Delta guys/gals allowed to use Kaiser? I was pleasantly suprised starting with United last year wheen I was offered that.. I still try to use the VA first, but Kaiser has been easy for the kids and for getting dermatology referrals for myself.
