What a clown. I can't believe this guy keeps getting a blank check to troll this place. Post after post after post of being a contrarian, just to get a rise out of everyone, so he can further run up his post count in reply to his flame bait. And he gets you all every time. Sick obsession he has here in being the king of an anonymous web forum. Weird.
But in case you're serious, "CB", if you're flying with me, you'll sign us in, do every walkaround, and any other task I assign you. And if you're insubordinate, I'll let the CPO deal with it, and I promise they'll back me up and not you. So stop with this nonsense of flexing from the right seat. Don't like it? You're more than senior enough to upgrade.

Also, I thought you blocked me. It was way more pleasant in here then.

Actually…it’s much faster if the FO hustles to get in front of the FA gaggle and the CA hangs back to run interference

11 posts, CBreezy... You made your point.
FWIW, I really don't give a flying flip who does the sign-in sheet (I was taught the FO does it, but whatever). I do find it interesting how you are making a such a big deal about NOT doing something so simple, to the point of being combative about it, so you can 'win'. The CPO would not take kindly to a "General Captain", but they also wouldn't take kindly to you creating such a Cockpit distraction over a friggin' sign in sheet either...

Lol. Pretty easy to be a tough guy hiding behind a keyboard huh? I bet you purr like a kitten in person.
I don't take one word you say seriously, but if you were to try this, I won't be the one having a miserable time. You'll be gone without pay for the rotation and I'll be flying with a reserve who knows how to act respectfully. You win. Lol.
But all this is an academic discussion since you're actually a 73N captain now, and you're just here trolling to get your jollies and run up your post count.

Same with walk arounds really. I’m actually shocked there are CA who don’t do a walk around because they feel it’s below them or something. Everyone I’ve flown with it’s all been a team effort to get the aircraft off the gate on time in the most efficient and safest manner possible. That typically means the PF does the FMS set up and the PM does the walk around.
At my previous shop the CA always did the FMS set up so it made sense that the FO always did the walk around. Division of duties to be efficient in both cases.
Maybe the culture is changing? Who knows but I’m happy to report that every person I’ve flown with at Delta has been great and a team player. No “General Captains” in my fleet that I’ve seen yet
