At one point I kept up on all the hiring for the legacies, but I've been out of the loop for a little while.

Thanks!

You'll be sitting 717 FO For 15 years.

lol right. We have a 2020 hire that's a 717B, dude could easily hold 350A. But we also have quite a few 2014 hires on it, who don't seem to be moving anytime soon. Many of them making more than Captains and WB FOs. Clearly it's not the worst thing to happen.

Only if you really really wanted to

I think you meant 350B

I'm seniro to 2020 hire and I can't be plug 350A for at least a decade right now.

Thanks for the feedback. I think you are right that I'd have to find a very compelling reason to leave SWA at this point.

This has been a great thread and I really appreciate the Delta folks who have chimed in with an honest take. This has, for the most part, been a great thread.

another data point, talked to a 350 FO whose husband is a captain at SWA, and she said he was making more money than the 350 captains she flies with from the new contract.. don’t know how much he works but I know you can make a crap ton at any airline working the system right

Be nice now, you're messing up a good story 🤣

My wild a$$ guess is he meant 2000 hire.

Lol yes, I meant 2000 hire. That's what I get for posting before my first cup of coffee. 🤣

This doesn't surprise me. The Delta captain probably works a lot less for the money he makes though.
