That’s an unusual conspiracy theory. So your premise is that the MEC is intentionally working with the company to restrict new bases because of votes?

The MEC once spent a chunk of change to analyze Delta’s hubs and pilot basing with the intent to show Delta could expand pilot basing opportunities and improve revenue by reducing reliance on ATL. The results showed ATL was the economic engine that drove Delta airlines and if anything needed to be expanded.

As usual, you refer to decade-plus-outdated stories to convince us your enormous ego remains relevant. But just like that study you claim DALPA funded, your knowledge base and management shilling are obsolete.

Don’t lump me into your ‘us’.

Was this before or after CrowdStrike?

let’s be real, we won’t ever see this supposed study, and it’s probably being misrepresented even if it existed.

You really don’t read all my posts do you? I would suggest however you set up an appointment with senior management to tell them how poorly they are running the airline. They could use your expertise.

Three new routes added, along with an increase in two frequencies.

New Routes:

DEN x2
MCI x2
CMH x1

SFO increases to 2x daily
IND increases to 3x daily

Everything but SFO is on OO.

Considering how they're filling the trips these days, they could hardly do worse. Stoney might have some good pointers.

DL will continue to start new routes on OO and upguage to mainline as planes and routes become available/proven.

AA buildup was disastrous for many reasons, but DL is taking the conservative approach doing adds every few months starting on RJ’s and up-gauging to mainline. Another step towards hub status for AUS. After the new concourse it will be Delta’s largest station that is not designated as a hub (yes larger than MCO).

They could probably do a combined AUS-SAT base based on A320. God knows it’s easier to get between those two places than it is to get to EWR from either LGA or JFK. I still don’t buy it though. MCO, DAL, lots of places can get big. I’ve always assumed looking from the top down that network looked at MEX and the Aeromexico codeshare as the “Texas” base. Sure would make life great as an SAT commuter but I’m not holding my breath.
