Since when is asking for a sequence or IF there will be a delay a problem?
That controller just told the United to go pull over with no context. Asking IF there will be a delay is a reasonable question. A simple yes or no would suffice.

And DUH fuel management is pilot responsibility. That's why they are asking for sequence and IF there is a expected delay... So they can manage their fuel 🤦♀️
