my guess is these are a mix of growth and replacement airframes.

also, HK can correct me if I’m wrong, but I think an optimistic EIS is q4 2026. Still time to hire to catch up and cover deliveries.

supposedly 4 in January and EIS in March 2027.

they can schedule that as the time gets closer. While it would probably be easiest to do in association with CQ, to my knowledge nothing is stopping them from sending a whole base to max training over the course of a month or 2, then keeping max flying to bases that have completed training.

As has been detailed above. Fleet has said they are going to add an extra day to next CQ cycle. If it starts in the fall, everyone will be trained by entry into service.
