50%? He's batting more like 85% bullsh!t these days.

Trip lives in his own world. It's not rooted in reality. It's rooted in whatever Twitter post he read most recently that seemingly aligns with his current yet undereducated worldview.

Everyone has their opinion. Trip just doesn't know when to shut up and eat crow. I put more value on the output of Claude than Trip. But 0% of zero is still zero.

We already have long van rides to hotels at the beginning/end of some trips. Now having them mid day is a new low I'd not like to see continue. And yes I too flew 7-leg days. I'd rather not do it again.

Exactly this.
This is all a huge distraction. The crew fatigues out and problem solved. Nobody is going to sit in a van for hours at our rate of pay for SIT and EDP pay as a regular operation. No correction to the PWA needs to be made because this is exactly what Delta and the opto-MISER-guminator is trying not to do. This is a one off and how much negotiating effort should it get? It pays double and/or pilots fatigue out... so self correcting problem.

Next...SQUIRREL!

We're no longer cancelling almost as many flights as Spirit did on the day the ceased operations, so I guess the trend is good. But Friday we were still #2 in the world of cancelled flights with 43 flights, while UAL cancelled 8 and AAL cancelled 3. Today, we're holding steady at #3 with 31 cancellations...on a Sunday...with almost no weather affecting the system yet.

It does seem they've gotten somewhat better at getting trips covered in my little corner, with lots of QS and GS. I saw a few posts last night about cancellations due to no FO's, which isn't all that shocking considering it's the end of the month and many aren't going for banked PB days. What's crazy is that this is due all due in large part by company's new stance on PB days, along with their decision to not hire last year.

Was walking through the terminal in DTW yesterday and saw the Paris flight canceled again. Are we that short on the 330? International flights are higher profile and travel disruptions there cause much more chaos. It's not a good look to keep canceling our more premium and lucrative flights.

When you see a WB cancellation after the 20th it's a pay shortage, not a pilot shortage. Nerfed PB days hit hardest in WB categories.

The Paris flight that canceled yesterday was operated by Air France.
