Since when does DL mgmt control content of this site ?

ANY influence on the editorial content of this forum (that is not illegal) by DL mgmt is complete BS, and should be a warning to folks posting views contrary to mgmt or moderators.:mad:

They don't control this board. What the request was is to have the info removed to save anyone from having to answer any difficult questions. Ala, remove the post and life goes on.

It may even be a violation of the social media policy. Point is your mods are trying to protect the pilots when they are made aware that something was posted that should not be out there.

GMAB, its me watching out for someone who had no ill intent. I got a call since I did not answer a PM. Call could be from a concerned friend. I have not been on here in days, read the posts, and recall that we had the same issue a few years ago. I also know that RA specifically stated not to post parts of his presentation on the web boards. Combine those two things, and removing the posts makes more than enough sense. I would hate to see anything happen to anyone who was just trying to be helpful.

Again, no company official has anyone on a "bat phone." It was another pilot concerned about a fellow pilot(s) no more no less.

Delta pilots wear Delta hats, APCers wear tin foil hats.

I would take it as a positive sign. Clearly something in those notes was dead on and mgmt does not want that out for public consumption. Aka, we were getting true news. That's good to know.

The negative is that mgmt clearly keeps an eye on this board. Now you know that anonymous posters who get called out as mgmt and "new" posters Who come on here to sway opinion, it's a sure guess thats exactly what is going on.

Nothing that nefarious. I have no idea what was said in the mtg. Been sicker than a dog. I do know that pilots in that meeting read what was posted on here and contacted a few mods telling us that they were told specifically not to post info and the higher ups were aware and none to pleased that their request was not honored.

That does not validate any of the info just the fact that a request to those lca's was not honored. Easier to remove items that are sensitive in nature that were not to be posted via apparent direct request than to leave said info up. It's fellow pilots watching out for fellow pilots. No more no less.

How would "anything happen" to a fellow pilot if this is an anonymous web board?
Since mgmt has your contact info, what would you do in a scenario where someone posted a non-illegal post that really chapped their crack, and contacted you demanding the source?
