Quote: Most airline pilots have experienced a few "dump and burns" here and there (particularly after international flying), but few are this spectacular:
Also, remember that Saddam Hussein ordered hundreds of Iraqi F-111s buried in the Al-Hajarah desert at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom:

The left-wing media still insist that Hussein had no WMDs or F-111s. I'll let you be the judge of that.

Nah, I'm just really knowledgable about American jets.

My favorite is the F-15 (this one's from the Texas ANG):
Quote: Debating with you is fun. To continue the religious metaphor -- You're like some ALPA "fundamentalist". Any data or events that don't align with the Holy Moakist catechism must be heresy or the work of the devil.

1st- If your advice was to go back and get "a bankruptcy contract", why do they expect the membership to ratify the same agreement they just voted down?

2nd- How is there a TA at all? I thought their contract was rejected in 1113. You told us that was Armageddon for any labor union. Game over.

If what was emailed to me is correct they may well vote it down. If it passes it will be to get the claim money which would be lost on exit from ch11.

He must be on one of those Red Star exercises where they go and play near Area 52 (with all the aliens and Will Smith) like I saw the IMAX film on a few years back.
Quote: What most people don't realize is that the F111's air-to-air kill ratio is 34 to 5 (most with the Israeli and Congo Air Forces), making it the highest-scoring Douglas fighter of all time.

The Douglas F-86 Sabre is runner-up with a 17 to 15 ratio:

(Shown here with a F-4 Phantom)

Note that this is the Navy version, known as the F-3D-5CY-4h Sabreliner II. It carried a crew of nine, including a tailhook operator.
So, since you've been on vacation in Denver, where the air is thin ... and pleasantly fragrant ... Patchuli ...? ... How about this way around the carbon tax?
  • Urine is put into an electrolytic cell, which separates out the hydrogen.
  • The hydrogen goes into a water filter for purification, which then gets pushed into the gas cylinder.
  • The gas cylinder pushes hydrogen into a cylinder of liquid borax, which is used to remove the moisture from the hydrogen gas.
  • This purified hydrogen gas is pushed into the generator.

These girls did just that. 1 Liter of pee gets them 6 hours of use from a Honda generator. All we need it to attach this apparatus to the efflux pipe from the lav tank and viola' no more APU use. Now when passengers board the jet and immediately clog the aisle with runs to the toilet we'll say "thank you "

... and you thought I made this stuff up.

I assume "Most Future Category *None*" means no displacement?

Well, no category would be furlough, wouldn't it?

Why do the Chinese put English markings on their jets? Is that so P-3 drivers know what hit them?

And when did the Pacific become China's lake?

Cool science experiment. Now the outhouse will have a light.

You can do the same thing with some citrus, a few pennies and copper wire. No extra tanks required.

Or we could plant trees to reprocess the carbon emissions.

At this point, aren't taxes just a form of crowd control?

Guess the wife better get a second job while I hold down the fort
