That's correct. There are no restrictions from sharing opinions.

If you abuse the authority and use your power (ha!) to control the conversation, then that is way out of bounds. I haven't seen anyone do that, but if it does happen it should be reported. Same with going out of bounds of the TOS.

There are no mods that don't participate in the conversation.

Flows only come when there is active hiring. No new bodies since 2010 in any way you try to twist it.

Then again, I'm coming up on 6 years and people still call me a newhire...

Any source for that? Everything I've heard is "about a year from now." (why is the next bid always the big bid and hiring always next year?)

A Project Ignite pilot team member was told that at a recent meeting.

What prevents someone from banking time in December and cashing it out in January, after our 8.5% pay bump kicks in? For example, if I were to bank 30 hours and cash it out the following month, I'd have made an extra $300 just by deferring my pay for a month; or do I misunderstand the way this works? If it was that easy, wouldn't everyone do it or am I the last one to NOT do it?

You can do it - it's just only credit above 80 hours in a month is allowed to be banked. So you'd have to credit over 80 hours to get it. Vacation, training, GS are pay (or double pay), no credit so they don't count.

Senior folks might be able to do it but otherwise it's a bit hard.
