Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I was given a room at the JFK Hampton and took the hour-long bus-to-Federal Circle-to-hotel shuttle this week during the snowstorm. It was a cross between "Slumdog Millionaire," and "Frozen."
And then when I checked in I was told, "Oh, you didn't have to do all that. We pick up crewmembers at the terminal"

My wife and i went to Palau on DAL's second flight in there and it is still the best snorkeling / diving I have seen. Very large amount of sea life and sunken world war 2 relics and such. Also don't miss jellyfish lake. Millions of jellyfish that can't sting anymore caught in saltwater lake and you swim through them. Google it. One of the craziest places.
As far as accommodations, we rented a 1 bedroom apartment their on the island complete with kitchen and all for about $60 a night (even included a hot cooked to order breakfast every morning). Also rented a car as there are some great out of the way hikes and swims on the less populated areas of the island. Went with Sam's tours as well, good outfit! I will definitely go back again.

Agree with XtremeF150 on Palau. The hike into the waterfalls featured on Survivor is also worth it, if you rent a car. Sam's is great, have a brew and fish after snorkeling. The Palau DL hotel is also fine.

The Hyatt Regency Saipan crew rate is $68 bucks! Normally $245, not too shabby.

Anybody hear an update on the glass cockpits for the 88/90s? I was on a jumpseat on one a few weeks ago and the captain had heard that the vendor for them was backing off some of the abilities they thought they could do with it?
I'm hearing the same thing. I heard there are problems with getting the new stuff to integrate with the autoflight system and that it has been put off indefinitely at this point. This doesn't surprise me. Maybe they could just upgrade the FMS to Pegasus (with GPS), leave everything else the same, and this would meet the Next Gen requirements?
