Next month I start commuting to SLC. Anyone know of some decent hotels with transportation and preferably free breakfast?

Thanks
Quote: It looks like they are going to be short of 7ER captains system wide.
Either that or they are parking 757s faster than we thought.
Negotiating "Lance Captain" LOA.

Try this site: www.mycrewguide.com/‎

It's run by one of Delta's very own NYC 7ER dudes. (That was his status anyway, from the last email I received, it could very well have changed in this last AE.)

Anyway, plenty of useful information for commuters and leisure travel.

I spent many a night at the Airport Inn near SLC. I was a basic room, no frills. For the short time duration of my stays it was adequate. This was years ago though.

Quote: Moved up about 12 numbers on 330B, could have held M88A in NYC with about 19 below if I wanted, about 200 from 73NA and 32 from 320A. Too bad I don't live there abouts. Like driving to work too much

I did just get a 7 day GS and started Rolling Thunder which is even better

Well, last month I had a 72 hour reserve guarantee and I'm getting paid for 167 hours....... Oh, and I added 8 payback days to the bank. I now have 16. Even though I'm reeeaallly junior in category, I would have been able to hold a regular line the last few months. My current plan is to bid a regular line in July or August and then drop all the trips. Pre-month our coverage always looks good. Then I'll either take a summer month off or greenslip on a regular line...

Moved up 39 numbers in NYC7ERB-land. About 8% considering how little they backfilled.

And yet I still don't know how to uplift a gif.

Your plan sounds good. I already started on a similar plan.

Wow! Its been many, many years since I saw a bid like this one. That is a welcome sight. Clamp, how close did you get to boy captain?
Quote: Congrats to all those that fixed their commutes!
Wow, Capt went reallllly junior, I was very pleasantly surprised and may need to update my projected ugrade time

UNFORTUNATELY, I lost another 2% as everyone who bid out was junior to me and most incoming were senior... story of Out West. Now I've had an unmitigated string of backsliding AEs since 2010, with just one AE with "no change"... lost 24%. I will say that the 7ER did see some movement, but it didn't translate to 73 movement.
I feel your pain, 2% drop for me also. I have moved backwards every AE since Oct/2011.

The power of rolling thunder. BOOM!
Which is nothing compared to the power of Green Slip with Conflict.

MEC? Hello? Is there anybody home?

It is time to turn up the heat. It is time to show some resolve.

The Delta pilots are a money machine. We are generating incredible numbers for this company.
We need to be compensated fairly.

I tried a few. At first I did Quality in for $49. Then Ramada.
Better than both is Airport Inn 801-539-0438. It's on the E side of Airport vs. the west side, but it's also just about on the bus route or train or something... Anyway, they have their OWN SHUTTLE that they don't share with other hotels (Quality shares...) so it's reliable. Think it's $45 or so for aircrew.
However, I think you're senior to me... the whole place is a downer, bid out ASAP.
