What I posted above is factually correct. If you're interested still, go to the "alpawatch" website. Read their historical record. You'll see while they put out placebo rhetoric on how they'd like things to be, in the end they served to divide. In fact they reveled in that.
Of course I'm subject to bias. But I'll challenge you to point out where I've asserted something factually incorrect. Still, my intent and credibility is worth what you pay for it...
You can always put me on your ignore list.
Without adding my personal opinion...you mean the guy that thinks DOH is the only "fair" way to do a merger? And who advocated such on the DALPA forum (wife is furloughed USAirways). His posts would be an interesting historical reference if we ever merged with, say, Alaska.
As to the answers that got this thread moving again, note that the questions above reference "Council 20". That's DTW, not SLC. My guess is that it was an "alpawatch" questionnaire. Looking at their website and seeing the misinformation they produced during the merger doesn't give me any warm fuzzies about their intent or credibility.
I don't mean to rehash merger stuff that is rightfully behind us. The point is that "alpawatch" isn't accountable to anyone, and have in the past worked to divide.

I will agree that during the SLI they were not unbiased at all. If you do a search of their election archives, as I have, the majority of their stuff us unbiased. They just print the stuff and that is it. No input or perspective.
As for the guy in question. I give him a ton of credit, he has listened to advice, reason and logic and changed his views on may issues. That is impressive whether you agree with his point of view or not. He takes input. I have seen it first hand.

2. Interesting that CS advocated DOH for USAirways.....I suspect that is because his wife is furloughed from USAirways...He wouldn't advocate DOH for anyone with Delta I bet....
Flew a 4-day trip with him over a year ago before this position was even on the horizon. He had the same opinions then that he is putting out there now. I talked to him about a week ago and scope protection really is one of his top priorities. He is a great guy and I think he would do an outstanding job as the CA Rep in SLC.

If these answers sway your vote, log on and change it.
The goal was to have each candidates answers side by side so you the pilots could make the best decision for yourself. We want what is best for this council, even if that means one does not get elected.
