I'll tell you what sucks, its when you're hotel room key doesn't work.

But what really sucks is when you really need to get in that room because after a 15 minute walk from your favorite Texas taco stand your brain is getting signals that you won't make it to your room, but if you do make it to your room it'll only be to hide from the public because there is no way you're going to make it to the bathroom and as your shivering hands slides the key in the door and you yank it out, your eyes watering, but you get a red light, the key doesn't work.

That really sucks.

Now there's a thread drift nobody wanted.

Nothing like the turbo taco poop walk. It's more of a swift waddle with intermittent meat sweats and tummy grumblies if you ask me.

He had a 65 hour line. I would have had 70 on reserve. I would gladly give up 5 hours to hold a line. The only bad thing is that I dont get the line guarantee. I have to pickup, GS, or WS all my trips. I feel like a senior guy that just dropped all his trips!!!

I wouldn't bother trying to GS a trip unless I was sure I was going to fill up to the GS pay trigger.

What does the union say about this situation?

Good Luck!

PBS made an error in my award and put me on a RES line. Found the error and scheduling gave me a Blank Line for Jan!!!! How great are those...I get to pick out whatever I want to fly. Happy Channuka to me!!!

Quick question:
In one one of those scheduling errors, they gave a guy a trip that should have gone to me on a yellow slip. The scheduler admitted the mistake. If I am on reserve and they mess up, do I get that pay no credit if Im under guarantee?
Exactly what type of errors did you find? I found one during my time here, but was told it was the way I bid and the logic that is given to certain parameters. Because of that, I now "cherry pick" the trips I want instead of giving it multiple statements per line .. example "Duty On This day, start after this time, this check-in base, layover here"

Oh you di'int... College football is waaaaaaaaaay better than pro football. Here are just a few reasons:

1) No 2 minute warning. Why is it that heavily compensated "professionals" have to be told there are 2 minutes left in a half? I know I know.. it's all about selling Budweiser, but come on...
2) No stupid Allstate net behind the goalposts. (Well, at Neyland Stadium anyway) The fans throw the ball back... just like they should.
3) You have plsyers that give their all every time they run out on the field, because they know this is their final shot to play a game they truly love. Not so many Randy Mosses (is that the plural?) in college football.
4) Not enough Peyton Mannings in the NFL and too many Ray Lewises (another plural).
5) And my favorite: Overtime in college is way more fun than pro.

In the vien of thread drift, and in the spirit of Mickley, if you don't know who that was, go ask an old FDAL guy, all I can say is: NASCAR!

Someone posted before a way to insert a space into the AE preference sheets so you don't have to retype everything - please repeat. Thanx
