Availability question
 

How early will Delta start looking at applications? I put mine in, but put my availability as April 2008 due to my military commitment. Anyone in a similar boat? Are pilots getting called 3 months out? 6 months?

Hopefully they can perform better than UAL post-bankruptcy.

I found out about the Air Inc thru the website and decided to go last minute to the one in LA. Hopefuly it works out.

So what was the condition? The psych test and physical? In others words did you definitely get the job yet? I go in on the 15th/16th - hopefully for the June class as well!

I will second what has been said on this threat. I just walked five people's resumes in and all five got called that day. They are looking for people to vouch for you. A few of the guys that I recommended did not have any other internal contact. You only need one, and in fact if you do go to an Air Inc even you may get called out of the blue. The interviewers themselves are the ones that are going to be at the event. It is fact time with the ones that make the call.
Delta will be hiring a lot more than the 200 that they have projected. You may easily triple that or more in the next year. Get your stuff in and get going. It is a great time to come on over. The good is going around.

I had someone walk my resume in a few weeks ago and haven't heard anything. I put July as my availability date. Does anyone have any info with regards to how far out they are willing to look at you?
