I think I'd take a red-eye and stay awake until 5am then do a 5 am departure. I'm not sure which wrecks your body more.

I have been telling that to people here for years. At least when you get done with a redeye you can go to bed. After the pain of a 0440 departure, you could be up for another 14 hours!!!!

Well, it's Dec 8 GMT. Grenwich not Georgia.

I think I'll open the scotch I've been saving and drink til the list comes out. I should be ready for the results by the time they are released if I start now.

Sip slowly my friend. We will be lucky if that list is out within the next 24 hours. Although a 24 hour drinkfest does sound like fun....

PS. Wish I had a dollar for every "view" when I started this thread. I would run an open bar at Spondivits for a month. I had no idea it would keep going. The thread should have died several times. Cracks me up.
My best time at Spondivits was when the rest of my crew was female. Guys cirlced our table like sharks and invariably took drink orders for all of us: "Anybody want a beer?" And so it was that I drank all night for free. But an open bar for a month? That's serious change. And can anybody tell me why Delta keeps showing up at job fairs only to say, "We're not hiring nor taking applications today"?

New - finally, one flight that needs RJ service. How often does a line-holder fly that trip?

Yeah really. I'm freezing in ATL right now and its only 38 degrees. I wouldn't even know how to pack much less wear anything for -20 degrees weather. I guess the good news is that from sea level to 36000 feet the temperature up there drops only 30 degrees. Insanity. The mighty 9 is the only thing that could withstand such temps. The tubes on an RJ would simply freeze up.

Don't ever talk about MOT again! No. Let's talk gentleman talk like St. Martin, Aruba, Turks and Caicos. Ahhhh yes, there's no place like home.

Heyas,

Actually, pretty often. It's actually not a terrible overnight, but most NWA guys don't really care about where the layovers are...it's more about how good the trips are with credit/sits/whatnot.

If you think an RJ needs to fly it just cause you don't like the layover, well, that would just figure.
