Be careful what you wish for. We've got 120 M88s and how many 90s?

Let me try to change that highlight:

...c) the hourly rate of the highest paying aircraft model that all pilots in his category may be required to fly...

The takeaway:

Because not ALL 88 pilots are MD90 qualified:
90 Reserve pays same as 88 Reserve unless you break guarantee.

Cheers

Or the fact that the -90 is going to have the same amount of seats as the 737-800 yet pays almost 10% less. I never quite understood that one. I think we should bring all the narrowbodies up to 757 pay rates.

4% for flying actually performed beginning 1/1/11, meaning you won't see the raise until the Feb 15 paycheck.

We will also get 1% additional DC, which will take effect for all pay beginning on 1/1/11, meaning you will see THAT on the Jan 15 paycheck.

Is that 4% across the board, for new hire year 1 pay as well?

Thanks

Are you sure?
Once everybody in the category gets differences training they'll all be 90 qual'd.
Reserve guarantee will then be a composite rate.

We went through this with the two 737 models until they made the rates equal.

I'm not so sure it is that cut and dried. The definition, by contract section 2, of "category" is a pilots base and position.

Yes.

BTW, all of this can be found in the PWA, available on the DAL ALPA website...

T, we do not have control over FPS, but I do think we should and can have lots of input concerning FPS and AWABS. We now know there are different ways to accopmlish our task, some much more efficent. I appreciate the SE taxi and the APU off mantra, but I also expect the other parts to do their job. FCRs and ASAPs are great vehicles for change.
