Now this is where it gets interesting..... She was contacted by her CP and asked/advised to remain on the ER since Delta had invested "all the money and time" getting her qualified! That seems pretty low to have a CP lean on someone because they were displaced, qualified on a different aircraft but now wish to return to displaced position.

Anyone heard of this happening before?
No, never. Hopefully her answer was no.

I really think we need to approach TruTV with the concept of a pilot reality tv show.

The audience would love old Carl and the random cheer leader appearances. Heck, we could even link up our story with the Rehab hotties and I'm sure it would quickly be a hit.

As for the question of staying on the ER and getting paid the 744 rate this was not mentioned. I doubt she will MD off again unless we have a big draw down, as she should bid about 60 from the bottom.

Also all I asked was whether anyone had heard of this before, not a slam but rather a question.
I'm going to hope ACL is connecting the dots on this one. NYC 744, splitting 744 between NYC and DTW (which I think is odd considering MSP sees a good number of 744s without a base).

So, being a slow news week, say I'm they. I call your friend, "hey, do you want 744 or do you want DTW WB? You can go back to the 744, but you won't keep it unless you go to NYC, which then means you'll go from the 744 to ER training cycle to 744 short course to ER short course. You can skip that less short course if you're okay with NYC, or skip the 744 short course if you're not okay with NYC."

NOT SAYING THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. But that in a world where the contract didn't exist but yet you weren't railroaded without it, I could see that logic.

But its a contract and its not the pilots fault or necessarily crew plannings fault this happened. Pilot is doing what they want and taking what crew planning offered which was what crew planning was given to offer. Stuff happens.

Isn't that the truth. A few years back I had a fairly serious inflight incident. I still have pilots tell me about what happened and how they heard it first hand from the Captain of the flight. Kind of interesting how the story evolves and changes and is always I heard it straight from the horses mouth. Since I was the Captain I know what happened and I know they did not hear it from me. It does make me laugh however!

HA! I'm sure it sounds like we're all picking lottery numbers, 2... 4.... 5... 7.... (don't quote me I just remember 2 was 2).

I'm surprised they don't have the girl from Sportsnation on. I only know the show exists because of Cowherds radio program, and I've seen her, but I've never actually bothered to watch. She has the girl next door vibe and looks good in jeans, that's an A. No pics, just videos, her in Brett Favres jeans and her doing air drums:

On this note, I leave you with a trade secret, the source of many cheerleader pic's on this thread, so have fun, I'm sure everyone can find their alma mater (except the academy's... well, actually West Point is in there), but without further ado:

2008 Cheerleader of the Week Archive - SI.com - SI On Campus
2009- Cheerleaders Archive for NCAA, NFL and NHL - Sports Illustrated photo galleries - SI.com

When I log back on in the morning I expect great things.

To post pictures, remember on IE8 you simply right click on the pic and copy the Address (URL) or on Firefox just right click and COPY IMAGE LOCATION.

And then come back here and either GO ADVANCED and use the picture option or simply write IMG and paste the address and then write /IMG again, except you need to put [ ] around the words IMG and /IMG. If I do that now it screws it up so I can't show it to you, but just put brackets around the words and you're good to go.

Rock on' you Delta hat wearing double breasted bad *** gunslingers, some of whom are proud former members of:
