Yes, and EVERY gate agent wants to tell you just how much of a step back they're making.

It really makes it hard to flirt when they're whinning so much......but I get my one line'rz in

Oh its not so bad. After you've manually flight planned, spun the winds and calculated your weight and balance a few times, its a breeze.

Man, I find all that hard to believe. Have you seen/used Access or Pentry? It works like a program written for a Commodore 64. If DAL IT is behind that I wonder if they still etch stone tablets down there. I guess those couldn't crash at least.

We're not. Just some alarmist thinking...and some gate agents with too much time on their hands. Its sort of like asking the FA's how the landing was...Come on down boys, the weather (and the IT) is fine.

At this point does it really matter which one is behind...have to move forward and fix the things that need fixing.... there is lot to do and its going to cost a lot of bucks. Acess and Pentry are not important, its the things that run the airline and make it profitable that will need work; as we all know...no one likes to get out of their confort zone.
