Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

The previous two A330-200 CROTs were staffed without any solicitation sent out to the pilot group at large. The current MEC Chairman was a member of the final A330-200 CROT.

Did you know there is currently an A330-300 CROT? Do you know who is on that commitee so you can send your input? Did you see anything from DALPA asking if you were interested in serving or what the qualifications were?

Note: CROT is covered in the PWA and as such is administered by the MEC Chairman on the DALPA side.

I would like to know why a certain fNWA instructor pilot was fired from the 330 CROT?????? Rogue24 hit the nail square on the head!!!!!

I do not think Drafting Committees use recorded votes. Only the MEC does that and ONLY IF someone (status rep) calls for it.

If you look at the resolution link on the MEC comm committee page it lists the vote tally in drafting committee but not names. There are reps from each LEC in each committee so your reps should be able to tell you who voted how.

It was written by the DTW Secretary/Treasurer Drew Massey. It was not only insightful, but provided a very factual set of examples showing how broken our union structure is. If this doesn't show you that we are NOT a "bottom-up" organization...nothing will.

Boomer, don’t let this guy posting this junk on here discourage you. I have nothing but positive experience talking to the Delta guys and gals while jump seating or hanging around the airport and I do work for Comair. Companies will hire you for who you are!
