Also, you never really know how your SSN will work for you. It may be a 2xxx but what if everyone else is a 2xxx, or 1xxx.... So just bid what makes you happy. Things are moving incredibly fast.

Good point. Thx to you all, I have a playbook!

Start indoc Jan 5. Lots of good data here. Looking for more views on quickest way to get to ATL. I'm hearing 88, 717. Cheers.

In the large classes like we are having your social is going to fall inline where it should. If it is 25XX you are going to be 25% from the bottom +/- a few percent. It's like flipping a coin 100 times. You are going to get between 45-55 heads. Hard to defy the laws of math.

7ER should get you ATL quick too. 136 unfilled spots last bid. AE due out JAN 2 so you should get to bid that bid (I think). Might get ATL before you are out of Indoc.

Yeah......we are looking at one bedroom apartments in NYC. And I heard the avionics in the 717 and 88 are sweet. So there's that. Hahaha

The 717 is actually really sweet. I got the 73n, but in my dec 2 class your SSN would have been right about the last 7er spot or the 17/88.

ER or the 73N. Guys have been given SLC and LAX 73N during indoc (not initially award, but through an AE) or within a few weeks of finishing indoc. With the opening of the SEA 73 base and the growth on the 73, it may be a good option going forward.

Right about 73N. But he did say Int'l. The Jan AE will be interesting to see. I think there are a bunch of guys living and based out west, just not in the same city. This should help fix that.

Thanks Moon. I will be commuting from San Antonio for at least 4 yrs (til kid graduates HS) and I'm from ATL. Family still there, so even sitting reserve there is ok. Gotta convince my wife to leave Texas for ATL sometime. We are getting anchored.

How many 717s are online? Any anticipated growth of the 717B category in DTW? It seems all of the planned DTW growth shifted to NYC.

Burn Notice 12-23-2014 07:44 AM

52 or 53 online now with 35 to go. Last one should arrive just after Thanksgiving 2015. NY definitely shoved DTW to the back burner for now, but there is still a lot of flying to come with the fleet.
