Just saying....
So we can continue to light billions and billions on fire for no gain to anyone including our share price, long term investors or anyone other than the very few in the EPS bonus based crowd.

Sadly, yes. Insanely over priced garbage that it is...

I hope the Co. is looking into other avenues, before UHC is unacceptable at a majority of health care facilities.

I think that the creation earlier this year of UHC's "elite team" of agents for handling our issues is indicative that they know there are issues with UHC. Unfortunately, providers won't experience any improvement dealing with UHC so they are likely to continue to drop off UHC network.

Even going with DPMP so we can use out-of-network providers, UHC drags their feet and requires all sorts of extra documentation to look for excuses not to cover it. And it's really fun asking providers - who have already said they don't work with UHC - to send in treatment records and respond to UHC's letters etc.

I don't know why UHC seems incentivized not to cover things or at least make reimbursement as onerous as possible - Delta is self-insured so it doesn't come out of UHC's pocket anyway.

My family has UHC through my wife’s work.... they treat us well, provide good service, and cost much less than what Delta is charging. UHC is not the problem....the level of service that Delta pays them for IS the problem. They will provide as good/bad a product that a company is willing to buy.

While I agree, mostly, with what you said, but UHC obviously isn’t easy to do business with on the provider side either, or health care providers wouldn’t be refusing to accept the insurance.

Remember who use to be a VP at UHC after he left NWA. RA. May have something to do with Delta’s choice of insurance.
After I retired I went on my wife’s BCBS policy. She works for Google and is the best coverage we have ever had!
