MD88's at Nellis? That will be some serious under wing. I suggest 2.75 FFAR.

Probably modified to UMD-88s, flown out of Creech. Nothing strikes fear into the heart of an enemy like an UnMannedDog! :D

I know these questions have been answered before, but it's tough sifting through hundreds of pages to find it.

Pay while in training?
When does insurance start?
How long is training and what is the typical footprint?
Can you go home during training?
Is all training done on campus or is there home based as well?

Thanks all.

Pay while in training? About $4k per month.

When does insurance start? Day one.

How long is training and what is the typical footprint? Roughly 6 weeks from start of sims to end of OE.

Can you go home during training? On 2 day or longer breaks.

Is all training done on campus or is there home based as well? You do computer based training before showing up for sims.

- Training Pay = $3800/month through IOE
- Insurance starts day 1
- Indoc = 2 weeks, sims = about 4 weeks, footprint can vary widely depending on airplane. Recent 73N guys I know we're about 9 weeks from start of Indoc through IOE. Contract gives a minimum of 1 week between Indoc and starting training.
- You get positive space travel home during sims if you have more than 48 hours off. I flew home between each block of training/sims.
- You'll get a USB stick at Indoc to learn systems at home during the minimum 1 week off you'll have between Indoc and starting training and will take the eSV (electronic systems validation) a few days after you start training. Very little "ground school" so you have to self learn a lot of it but it's pretty good info.
