Default DAL Poolie Info

Starting this for us in the DL to info-share:

According to Pilot Selection recently, off-the-streeters are in a first come first in/first out pool. Depending on how many NWA furloughees actually come back between now and Jan, the Jan openings will be a fluid number.

1st 20 + 9 slots/mo go to contractual flows from subsidiaries. Approximately 7 more will be Endeavor hires. The remaining 14 slots will be off-the-street spots.

Once the annual limits are reached on the contractual flows, then off-the-streeters hires get larger. Limits expected to hit sometime this Spring.

Now let's see how long we can keep this thread on target!

I hope this helps. I received strong information a few days ago that hiring should ramp up to 600/pilots per year.

We all know that this could change but the consensus is that of the above.

Good Luck. Hopefully the pools will be dry.

Expect the 20 from the compass flow to be back filled as those 20 will be held up for 2 to 3 months. Makes room for more off the street in Jan

Default DAL Poolie Info

Has anyone from the first week of interviews been "cleared to train"? (Or, received information that they passed the background and pysche eval?) Just wondering how long that takes...

I'm curious to know how many guys/girls are sitting on multiple offers (DAL & UAL/SWA/Etc). I know of several. There must be more.

The flows are being held back. Info from good source. Joined the pool this week. Pumped!

Just like they were held back in 2010.

According to the PWA entry level pay is 3775/mo. All first year FO rates are 68$/hr

Just a guess, indoc plus training should run about 5-6 weeks, then 2 OEs will take another 2-3 weeks.

Jr base is NY
