I'm sure someone has had a similar scenario - my airline apps expires on December 31. I start class January 3. Am I going to need to renew for 3 days, or do I need to not worry about it, or should I email BB/pilot selection and let them know? Thanks!

Why would you need to maintain an application AFTER you've been hired?

Not an attack, just confused.

Well, when you turn in your training commitment questionnaire, they ask you to confirm that your airline apps contact info is correct. So I'm led to believe they are still interested in it being current for some measure of time beyond your interview.

FWIW, I believe they are only looking at the contact information after the CJO, since you physically signed the app in the interview. There are a few things that come in the mail, in addition to potential phone contacts. I wouldn't pay the fee for three days (or even months), and no reason whatsoever to update hours or the like after the CJO. Good luck, and welcome aboard!

It has you commit to the class date with a verification you have no military or personal commitments. It's by no means a binding document, merely to help hiring/training.

Anyone heard of being called for a re-interview after a 12 month reapply with the SSP?

Sounds like 6 FEB indoc classes going out to 12 OCT CJOs today!

Any word on the number of classes per month or the number of pilots per class?

I suppose we will hear more from the January 3rd class.

No big reason(s) to expect anything less than 1000 total hired for 2017. Historically, we've had at least 2 classes a month and depending how the weeks fall in a particular month a few have 3.
