Well said Carl!

You're preaching to the choir! The last F/A vote was lost 49.2% to 50.8% and I can tell you from first hand experiences that MANY in the pilot group kept telling flight attendants to vote "no". As a matter of fact, I personally know 9 F/A's that are MARRIED to Delta pilots and 8 out of 9 voted "no". So yes, i'd like to fight my own battle but your group sure didn't help much in that last election. I know, water under the bridge but you guys negotiate for EVERYONE now since none of the other groups are unionized.

Now please, vote "no" to your TA. RA and ED are making out like bandits and this is what they're leaving you guys with...

Go DPA. If it doesn't work, does anyone really think ALPA wont accept us back in?! Heck, they allowed scabs in when Worthless took Continental in!

I don't doubt that one bit. I stay neutral. However, the IAM probably gamers more negative feelings then say an in house union would have. Pilots didn't want you upending their profit sharing train as TA 2015 approached... we have the nc and MD to do that.

I'm a 100% HUGE NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Baja.

Your arrogance is a pitiful as the MEC's muzzling of its own FB page. Instead of alienating your fellow bro's and sisters, why not unite them, encourage participation and send this POS across the street where it came from?

True, but changes to profit sharing would be much more difficult if there were other collective bargaining agreements on the property that would also have to be changed. An in-house union is impossible to start because there's no money. Look at all the money DPA has collected and still nothing. Although I agree about your sentiment with IAM, I think AFA was the way to go especially since there's so many mutual projects that AFA undertakes with pilot unions at their respective carriers. But like I said...it's water under the bridge.

Your MEC has approved your TA, now it's up to you guys to mobilize and get your colleagues to vote "NO". The louder the "NO", the bigger the chance of big improvements in TA2.

I think he was just encouraging people to write their reps and not just post on this site.

In fact, just go to dal.alpa.org, look up your council, email them what you're voting and/or thinking.

Cumulative pay increase net of PS is 14.9%. For C2012 it was 17.5%. Why would we accept less than the last go around? The company is making about five times as much profit, and our peer contracts are much more in line with ours.

Easy no for me, and I voted yes last time.
