Why are the pro TA threads not moved?

I posted an important updated how RA wants us to vote YES with a veiled threat by him. My thread was moved to a area with a bunch of other non realated items.
What gives?

Hi, everybody. Today is Friday, July 3, 2015. I hope this message finds you all doing well.

After we talked last week about the state of our overall summer operation you went on to set a Delta record for consecutive hours without a mainline cancellation during a summer schedule. From Thursday afternoon through Wednesday evening, more than 2.5 million customers flew without a mainline cancellation. That’s roughly 150 hours. Our previous record in a summer schedule was 80.3 hours – or just over three days. We also had two consecutive days this week on Sunday and Monday with 100% completion on mainline and at Delta Connection. It’s an outstanding performance, and it’s a testament to the work being done across the system and with our regional partners. And one more stat to be proud of is that year to date we’ve operated 68 days with no mainline cancellations, compared to 43 such days at this point last year. This is what reliability looks like, and it’s thanks to your collective hard work.

Looking ahead to the July 4 holiday, load factors are at or above 90 percent on the more than 9,500 flights scheduled for Thursday and Friday. Some rough weather in Atlanta and the Northeast will try to throw us off our game, but I know this team will work together to show our customers and each other the Delta Difference and get people where they need to be safely.

On another matter, I know the issue of compensation is top of mind right now for all Delta people as our pilots vote on the tentative agreement that the Company and ALPA reached a few weeks ago. Every year at Delta we take a comprehensive look at ground and flight attendant compensation, and this year is no different. We are committed to providing Delta people with leading total compensation - including profit sharing – compared with our U.S.-based global competitors.

I’ve been asked by a lot of employees for my thoughts on this agreement and what the opportunities are for Delta and our employees. Candidly, there's a lot of information out there – some true, some false and some speculative. In truth, the agreement is an opportunity to bolster the momentum we’ve built in three critical areas: Maintaining our history and culture of working and winning together; fortifying Delta’s highly successful fleet strategy; and providing the best pilot base pay, the best profit sharing and the best overall work rules amongst our global competitors. Failure to ratify the agreement will lead to a very different and longer path that will not result in a better deal. Uncertainty will prevail, and that will not be good for anybody. So, I ask all Delta pilots to continue their leadership in our company by ensuring you have the necessary information to cast a well-informed vote by the July 10th deadline. Our future is bright and I look forward to hearing that our pilots have seized the opportunities presented by this agreement.

Finally, I want to thank all of you who serve or have served in the military, and those whose family members serve to protect the independence our nation will celebrate this weekend. I hope you and all Delta people will have an opportunity to spend some time at some point over the holiday with loved ones. Please stay safe when you do.

For that matter, when has any CEO said... "If you don't ratify this contract, we've got much more cash to sweeten the deal and make you guys happy!"?

Who & why is some one moving all the individual subject TA threads to the catch all TA thread with over 1000 pages?

That makes it way too complicated to read about individual subject matter.

The break down of individual subjects makes it way easier to keep up with a topic that one may be interested in.

I guess it's back to chitchat forum for me.

Pro/Con has nothing to do with the moving of threads. There are just 2 DAL Mods, 80 Kts, and myself. I already voted No, and I am pretty sure 80 is not a big fan of this TA either.

We are basically getting overwhelmed. We are not on FPL doing this fulltime.

Yes, we have built momentum in three areas, but a poor TA can destroy that for the company. Our collective NO vote means we are no longer working together. The company overreached and we cannot support the level of concessions being asked for. It is a shame THE COMPANY chose to alter the culture of working together by delivering a sub par offer. Management should be ashamed of what they did to the company by even offering this concessionary TA.

Delta's highly successful fleet strategy of using foreign partners as our widebody lift is not a strategy I can get behind as a pilot. We agreed to a JV that was violated over a period of years with no attempt to follow a written commitment to the Delta workforce. We cannot get behind a fleet strategy that is not in the interest of Delta Employees. Let's not forget if we give up more JV flying it's not just the three pilots who lose out on the ocean crossing, but also 8 or more flight attendants.

In honoring that commitment to "providing the best pilot base pay, the best profit sharing and the best overall work rules amongst our global competitors", why is it necessary to take back in two of the three areas? Please leave work rules and profit sharing alone, increase the pay rates and be done with it. If you want to add a few minutes of training and vacation pay, plus a nickel of per diem as a feel good measure, please do so.

We are headed down a longer path, a path that was chosen by the company when presenting a concessionary TA. We showed you the path to preventing the staffing problems by hiring sooner. You ignored the advice. Come up with a better solution than choking the geese who are laying your golden eggs.
