Default LogTen Pro Pilot Logbook for MacBook Pro

I was wondering if anyone is using this to keep their times? Thoughts on ease of use and whether it helps in organizing times quickly for airline applications?

Thanks!

Had it for about a year now, worth every penny. Combine it with your iPhone and will never have to write anything down again. Also you can make custom logbooks. And yes it makes it easy for filling out airlineapps. They have a report build in for that specifically.

And it can only be used for apple. No PC's.

Previous posts (2008) mentioned that you had to be online to use it... I guess I'm confused. Do you STILL have to do that, or can you be in the aircraft - make an entry (either on your MacBook or iPhone) or do you still have to do it online? Sorry if that sounds dumb.

No, you don't need to be online to use it. I've been using it for 6 months now and love it.

I made the switch to LogTen in 2009 from LogBook Pro and haven't looked back.

I import my schedule from FLICA, make entries while in the plane after each flight and it syncs up with no interaction from me.

It's Mac/iOS only, so no PC version.

I was a civilian pilot in a previous life, now military. I bought the Mac program and the Iphone App. I love it. It's gonna take a while to input all 3,500 hours but it's definitely customizable enough for my use. I don't trust SARM/HARM to keep track of all my flight time accurately.

Have they fixed the issue with CONUS and ICONUS yet? Until now I am using an old palm to enter my flights and sync it up with logbook pro. Very handy tool for tax season....

LogTen pro user here for 2 years. Nice program, you can use it for taxes too. Just learn how to use it correctly and will give you 30/7, night & day currency, ifr currency, etc. Duty times and rest times.

Mac and iPhone sync is great. Print your custom logbook (many logbook options, including jeppesen), sign it every page and you're legal for any interview.

I'm interested but there seems to be so many problems. Scary if you research it and extremely expensive! $150 for desktop + $50 for iPhone + $80 for iPad. And it seems you have to buy it every year, at least pay expensive upgrade fees?
