Default E190 Rates

Is there a reason they are so terrible? CRJ900 (76 seats) is the same as E190(100 seats). These are regional wages and something to seriously think about!!

Which regional pays a CA 188 an hour and a copilot 128 an hour?
3rd year CA pay which will probably be the average for this aircraft will be 175 an hour. 3rd year FO is like 109. I must be out of touch with regional wages.

IMO, it depends on where it's based. Put in in CVG and it will take 20 years to hold it.

I heard they are all planned for SEA. Next step in the annoy Alaska game which so far has not hurt them a lick!

Not sure how a 76 seat Canadair is the same as a 100 seat Embraer. But here's my view on the proposed DL EMB 190 rates: nobody said they are terrible in the context you present ("these are regional wages"). It would indeed be a pretty sweet pay rate at SkyWest or Republic. At DL the 190 would occupy a similar mission stance to that of the 717 and will likely displace 717 flying in several instances. It is superior to the most common version of the DC-9 formerly operated by NW/DL, for which pay rates still exist.

A mainline aircraft that closely matches the abilities of a current mainline jet and outshines past similar size jets should not have captain pay rates below the best F/O pay rate on the property. That's what the bar is for me. Something closer to the 717/DC-9 rate would be in order.

Envoy: $104
ExpressJet: $108
Republic: $116
SkyWest: $115
Air Wisconsin: $106
GoJet: $97
Horizon: $114
Mesa: $102
Trans States: $101

Delta E190 (C2012): $131.42 ($136.71 is the top F/O rate in the TA)

Delta E190 (TA): $177.96 / 188.64 / 194.30 / 200.13

The rates for the other carriers are top captain rates, which vary with longevity and equipment, are from APC. Does anyone care to chime in on the veracity of those rates?

I see a 35 percent increase in pay for an aircraft that isn't on the property yet. It doesn't pay as much as 764 B, but it does pay more than 7ER B.

So what does "terrible" hinge upon? This thing crushes the market average, and brings a lot of block hours (and captain jobs) to the mainline.

Jetblue pays $176/hr on the airplane so congrats you matched a LCC that has only been around since 2000 and created a B scale all at once. We had the same thing down on express.
