Ah, I got it. We get a few of those every now and then on the cargo forum, too. Sometimes it takes awhile to figure it out.

I hate to think of any of the men or women that I haven't seen for awhile committing suicide. That's a pretty crappy thing to throw around, even for someone who is trolling.

Amazing how many "pilots" are on this site singing the praises of the FDX TA and ganging up on those opposed. Why would a Delta guy care to boast about our "great" TA? Seems strange to see so many working together to sing the praises of our TA, or is that just a coincidence? Some don't seem to know the difference between duty periods and pairings and lines? Gosh, who would that be? Never heard of the suicides??? Really??? Cologne? Germantown? Olive Branch? and the list goes on well beyond that.... Google: "Circadian Rhythm disruptions and depression." I'm signing off. No more inputs. There's more management spoilers here than real pilots.

I haven't heard of any of those. I am more concerned about issues such as cancer, brain tumors, heart attacks, the things that commonly affect our crew force.

However, though apparently you're not a FedEx pilot, you might be pleased to know that it is a real possibility that this TA might not pass. I have changed my vote to no, and other strong yes voters have done so, also. Although the money is pretty good, the quality of life givebacks that they stealthily wormed into the TA, just aren't worth the price. Not a bad deal, but just doesn't seem necessary to agree to backdoor PBS and QOL concessions at this point.

Isn't it almost spooky that our Management teams are almost working in concert to settle our contracts and throw some money at us to take back QOL work rules.

If I didn't know better, I would think there was an industry managers club where they got together and strategized and colluded on how to take our work rules away, knowing full well that the next industry downturn was right around the corner, and they could get a court to yank those pay rates back down. After that, we'd have nothing left to trade up for better pay rates and without work rules to trade for improved pay, ALPA wouldn't know what to do. Boom, the union is finally busted.

If I was CEO of an Airline, I would start a little secret club but I'd call it an industry advocacy group, and I've even got a great name picked out already. I'd call it Airlines for America. Or A4A. Pretty catchy, huh?

Come on, Curly. Pretending to be a FedEx Pilot and talking about suicides and Deaths in hotels? In the last year, I've probably received 20+ emails about Delta guys who've passes early and unexpectedly. All of the International carriers perform the same kind of flying that Fedex pilots do. At least in terms of hours of operation. You are truly pathetic. I'm embarrassed that you are one of us.

both TAs sucked

DAL pilots would have to pay for it
And FDX pilots are paying for it

No gains just swap money around

Do you mind if I post this on the FedEx TA forum? Im wondering if you're onto something here. These negotiations are starting to sound like they have a lot of similarities.

I don't mind at all. They've been doing it for a long time now. Im convinced the Post 9/11 BK playbook was distributed at a meeting.

FedEx TA passed 57%-43% with 97% of pilots voting. You can look at the TA at FedEx.alpa.org until the TA landing page is removed.
