Supposedly you can submit an item for the agenda as late as 15 days prior to meeting.
|
A motion to recall is always in order, on the agenda or not. A majority vote of members in good standing at the meeting is required to compel the Sec./Tres. to distribute recall ballots to the entire council.
Details in the policy manual. |
Council 44 sent out their agenda 24 mins after the vote closed. That was not a coincidence. Political shenanigans right to the end. More evidence that they definitely need to go before further negotiations.
I got my recall letter out after they sent out their agenda... going to be more difficult, but doable. |

Details in the policy manual. It looks like Art. III Sec. 3.D says that "Any agenda item may be introduced by a member at a regular Council meeting." There is a separate section (Art. III Sec. 3.F) that talks about recall of local council officers. |
The Council 44 meeting is Sept 28. They are obviously out of touch with those they represent, maybe because nobody ever goes to these meetings. Bid off accordingly.

It can be introduced, but it won't be voted on until the next meeting. That's why it should be on the agenda prior to the meeting so you can have an immediate vote.
