Default Sick leave incentive based changes.

Sick time incentive Pay would be better than punitive measures.

270 bank 100 hours unverified(as is) no changes to medical notes
Incentive to use less sick time instead of punitive measures
0-50 hours unused portion pay at 25%
50-75 unused pay at 50%
75-100 unused pay at 100%
100-125 unused pay at 150%

Call it an incentive based raise.

It's still cheaper than pay multiple GS or creating a need for more pilots for the stated sick time increase as presented.

The reason to start at 25% first is to prevent guys from flying sick as well as keeps cost down. If the first 50 hours were to be at 100% we'd have sick pilots flying. Non the less it seems the company is stuck on around 70 hours in that range so make the largest incentive at 75 hours and up.

Cheaters will always cheat on sick time regardless of the rules. This would would be a way to build and incentive based raise for the majority.

Wow a way to get a raise and create productivity, imagine that.

And....to add to your suggestion, make the pilot's sick leave year tied into date of hire which should dampen the spikes in May (per the graph shown at the road shows) when the "Use or Lose Flu" seems to hit.

there also has to be an opportunity for self verification to slide any company triggers. that allows those legitimately sick to verify and not use any of their unverified sick hours. the unverified sick time needs to be alotted for the sickness's that arent doctor worthy and that could be self treated.

we can't allow the company to have a pressure trigger like what was in the TA, thats bs and simply a designed pressure point to make pilots anxious about reaching that 15 hours. Since you couldnt self verify until after the 15 days it was going to cause anxiety to those abusing the system as well as those legitimately sick. that was fubar
