*** is a 'rocket surgeon'?

is it anything like a alpa expert?

capncrunch 07-17-2015 08:30 AM

I almost want to salute their behavior. With all the censoring, lying, pushing a crappy TA, meetings being set 90 days out to avoid recalls, MDs private meeting with RA and clearly going to come out with TA2 with the same crew that brought TA1, they are going to usher in DPA in spite of themselves.

They are not winning the hearts and minds, and are probably turning past yes voters into future NOs. I really believe they are hanging themselves with this behavior.

I already met one who flipped his vote from NO to YES the last time. He regrets it and won't do it again on TA2. He will not even entertain another TA unless there is a good cleaning of those who produced the last one and pushed the huge sales job.

I guess 65% of the pilots are "rocket surgeons" who didn't read the TA😝

I'm happy to be part of that group! Before Dalpa shut down their own forum, Mullis was a posting machine. Just when you thought that he had reached the bottom, he would out do himself the next day with a more ignorant and out of touch post. Can't wait to see how many "rocket surgeons" no fly list this gem!

poostain 07-17-2015 08:58 AM

Unbelievable, did you see who liked his post? LM the man himself. This guy is tool of the generation, and a dumb ass for not making his FB page private.

And yes, Lee Moak "liked" it

DALMD88FO 07-17-2015 09:02 AM

So apparently only FO's voted No. Funny I've talked to a lot of Captains that voted no.

This guy must be a joy to fly with. I wonder how many rocket surgeons made the "dumbass" mistake of putting him on their no-fly list and deprived themselves of his flying skills and charm.

Check Essential 07-17-2015 09:26 AM

This is starting to not be funny anymore.

The fact that so many prominent ALPA leaders would "like" a facebook page that shows nothing but utter contempt for the Delta pilots is seriously disturbing.

"morons" he calls us. And Moak "likes" that?

We've known about Mullis' anger issues for years.
Ever since he started that fight at a roadshow.
ALPA eased him out of official duties after that but now the rest have joined his deranged world.

This NO vote on the TA has clearly sent them over the edge. They don't know how to react and in all their anger and bitterness they have started to exhibit self-destructive behavior. They know they are done as soon as the pilots get a chance to vote. People with nothing to lose are dangerous.

We have to get these guys out of office. Fast.
Before they do something really harmful to all our futures.

buzzpat 07-17-2015 09:33 AM

The disdain he has for his fellow pilots is disturbing. How off the rails do you have to be to refer to 2/3 of your brothers and sisters as "morons?"

I feel sorry, really sorry, for the guys who have to fly with him...and that's a sad commentary.

Flamer 07-17-2015 09:48 AM

What is this guys ALPA job? Also what job does Curly C hold?

MtEverest 07-17-2015 09:52 AM

Here's a close up of who "likes" this poisonous post below. Two questions:

1. Did anybody tell this guy these are replacement air frames and that POS2015 productivity gives would likely be net negative for captain requirements?

2. Why is Mr. Big shot (Moak) who's still referring to himself as a Captain at Delta agreeing with a statement that is not only toxic but untrue? You would think with his team at Moak Group consulting they would be smart enough to figure this out. Btw, if any of you had doubts whether Moak has a hand in what's going on you need doubt anymore. I'm sure his "activist" activities include whispering into his lieutenants ears at the MEC level as well as national. That is, in addition to daily briefs with Richard and Ed.

EGTrise 07-17-2015 09:56 AM

The evidence that our "Union" leadership shares these feelings is accumulating. The highly visible, crazy, angry and unprofessional "Yes" voters that are posting on various boards seem to be doing so with the support and encouragement of DALPA.

That should worry everyone. Unless they have a seat at the MEC insiders' table. Which most of us don't have. Forty years ago, I was a Teamster. I know the signs of a crooked Union. I am seeing them now, right here.

We have a big problem.

Boatbuilder 07-17-2015 09:59 AM

How's the DPA membership drive doing these days?

MtEverest 07-17-2015 10:00 AM

You can see who liked this post above. He seems to think very highly of himself. Where else have we seen smartest guy in the room syndrome? A few pats on the head by Richard and he is beaming!

2 questions.

How long has Carl Spackler been warning everyone about these guys?

Can everyone agree that Carl has been right about this pack of jackals all along??

3 green 07-17-2015 10:06 AM

All the ATL 88 FO's can put Ron Mullis on their no fly list...After he took out the light pole in BNA with his wingtip he was pretty quiet, now he is back at it.

Yes we do. There's no telling what these guys might do to punish this group for crossing them.

Carl

buzzpat 07-17-2015 10:17 AM

BTW, his comment about his FO "hopefully being able to read the checklist" is one of the most un-captain-like, leadership-lacking comments I've ever read/heard. He should be ashamed of himself. Douche.

Ray Red 07-17-2015 10:18 AM

It is possible that someone made a fake FB profile with the name "Lee Moak".

Ray Red 07-17-2015 10:28 AM

Ron's FB profile is publicly viewable, it would be nice if someone took a screen shot of some of the inflamitory things he's said about his co workers and forward it to HR. I'm sure there is a social media violation somewhere in there.

Purple Drank 07-17-2015 10:29 AM

Are Chris Nevins and Tim Parker (both CURRENT full-time FPL collectors) also potential victims of intentity theft?

P.s. Parker is the comm chair. Ironic that he's incompetent enough to expose himself on a public Facebook page. So much for mastering social media.

I bet he wishes he could censor that post. Great job to the guys taking screen shots!

I had a short wait for a plane change in BNA. Saw that thing on the edge of the ramp, looked like major surgery with all kinds of DAL vehicles around it. Public in the terminal could see it too.

How in the world does one hit a light pole?

gopher3 07-17-2015 10:34 AM

Is this the same moron that was chest thumping and almost got into a fight with another Captain at the C2012 PTC roadshow a few years ago.? I vaguely remember him and another winner named Spanky referring to everyone who did not agree with them as "stoopid" on the old Dalpa forum. And they were prepping for doomsday and stocking up on weapons, ammo, and gold back in 2008.

Carl

Ray Red 07-17-2015 10:37 AM

It looks like Ron's privacy setting only allows comments and likes from friends. So I guess either it is the real LM or Ron friended a fake profile.

He also refers FO's to dumba$$es as well in another of his FB posts.

At first I thought that as well but a quick glance at some of his friends and photos would indicate otherwise. This is his real profile.

Intentionally trying to get your brother pilots fired or disciplined, or encouraging others to do so is not really high in the "class" department. I think the guy has made really dumb statements in this case and in the past, but this stuff is WAY over the line (yes, he is also off the reservation, but he's not trying to cost anyone their job). It is, however, not terribly far off the mark from the type of stuff we've seen from DPA and Caplinger in the past. It's the exact kind of stuff that lost them a great deal of followers in the not so distant past.

BobZ 07-17-2015 11:27 AM

Ummm.....actually people it is ALL of the line pilots they think are stupid......and only 65% who were so stupid they didn't get the brilliance of what was put in front of them...

Listen...pre bankruptcy, the alpa national chair..DW...in an open mec Q&A declared for all to hear...that "Up until a few years ago....NO ONE had ever heard of airline bankruptcy and pension failures"....

How stupid do you have to think the probably few hundred audience of airline pilots are....to swallow that whopper?

The culture of alpa has corroded into a self entitled, elitist oligarchy, who perceives themselves as having been unfairly burdened with managing the ignorant proletariat.

if you understand that, then you will understand how and why they perceive this ta rejection not simply as a vote on the terms of the ta....but instead, as a vote on their very hold on power over this group.

To disregard the possibility of retaliatory 'punishment' of this group by such leadership......is done at our own very real peril.

BobZ 07-17-2015 11:35 AM

are you reading dpa communications? or just repeating what someone said was said?

do you have personal knowledge of any dpa communication that called fellow pilots dumbasses?

just wondering.

It is curious you apparently are entirely deaf to the 'dumbass' descriptive being expressed in the context of wielding power over this group.....revealing the speakers base concern with 'no' voting block is NOT simply the rejection of the ta....but instead, and more deeply.....the challenge to his (presumptive) power and authority over this pilot group.

Tyrants....will always react emotionally and violently to challenges to their hold on power.
