While they are blaming social media....
THE DPA DIFFERENCE
Independent representation has clear advantages over ALPA; efficiency, transparency, and accountability to name a few. 12,000 of the world’s finest Pilots have all the resources and talent needed to accomplish effective representation. Consider the following exceptional advantages that make supporting DPA an obvious choice:
Lower Dues - Step down to 1% (industry standard); ALPA charges 1.90%; Put thousands back in your pocket
Seniority Block Representation - You get two reps from your seniority group; 8 groups; 16 reps; Equal voice for all
Vote for all positions from President to Reps - View candidate videos, resumes and statements of intent
Open Recall System - Online access to dynamic recall petitions for all elected positions; Fosters accountability
Transparent Finances - One click access to all DPA finances; Budgets, income and expenses published online
All DPA Leaders Must Fly - Monthly minimum flight requirement of 1/2 the ALV; Keep leadership in touch with reality
DPA Leaders Paid Reasonably - ALV plus 25% premium for service; ALPA pays designated reps 92 hours plus $1,000
DPA Leaders Paid in Category Bid - Keeps leaders in touch with reality; ALPA pays in category rep could hold, not bid.
Non-Compete Clause - No DPA leader may take a management job for five years after union service; No ladder climbers
Open Surveys With Published Results - Know where you stand among your peers; Unify with published objectives
Member Ratification - All Tentative Agreements, LOAs and MOUs affecting pay or working conditions ratified by all
Seniority Block Meetings - Held via video-teleconference; Promotes participation from anywhere in the world
Professional Negotiators - Expert team dedicated to Delta Pilot demands; ALPA uses poorly trained pilot negotiators
Dedicated Legal Team - One contract, one legal team; ALPA has 30 contracts with one legal team...error prone
Service Oriented - DPA Service Committee will complete global service projects; Enhances Delta image
Dedicated Political Voice - Lobby Capitol Hill for Delta needs; Combine with CAPA/global carriers for industry concerns
No Conflicts of Interest - DPA serves only Delta Pilots; DPA is not obligated to any competitors or regional carriers
Limited Legal Exposure - DPA serves only one group; ALPA legal expenses almost $68M in 2014 serving 30 carriers
Meeting Expenses Published Online - Meetings only in Pilot bases, no extravagant menus or unlimited alcohol like ALPA
Safety Program is Autonomous - Dedicated budget with full autonomy; Remove personal agendas and politics
Confidence in Representation Increased - Delta Pilots serving only Delta Pilots with full supporting services
Quality Contract Emphasis - Every word matters; Focused on the details using professional counsel
PA President is the Public Face of the Organization - Seniority Block Reps and members are the decision makers
All Votes Recorded and Published - Know how your Rep voted on every item
Board of Directors Role Limited to Constitution Monitoring - BOD suggests changes to members who bring resolutions
Surplus Funds - $50M in surplus by year four; Improved benefits possible like free Loss of License or 401k disability insurance
Legal and Aeromedical Services Provided - Top tier assistance will be available to all members.
All Optional Insurance Fully Continued - No break in coverage
Current DPA leadership is simply providing a pathway to self-governance. The DPA Constitution ensures that DPA will remain in the hands of the members and cannot digress back to ALPA’s top-down and broken method of representation. You own and fully control the Delta Pilots Association and set the direction we will take together. Join DPA. Then VOTE DPA.

Just use alpa's legal team and acquire their aeromedical.
Kind of reminds me of the story of the er fo who got tired of his old captain talking about his 20 something year old girlfriend in Brasil and how in love they were and simply told the captain "dude for $250 she'd be my girlfriend for the night." And crm took a nose dive.
But everyone is for hire.
