True cost of the sales job

[QUOTE=Hank Kingsley;1949426]
I used to think if we got rid of the yes voters, at least the ones that lied to us and/or acted outside of our interests to get this TA passed, that we could start fresh and resurrect DALPA/Alpa on the property and continue pushing forward. Now I'm not so sure.
As it stands, the guys who've lost our support are the ones who will elect the new MEC chairman before we get a chance to get rid of them so the good ole boys club gets to elect our next leader before getting ousted. If they do what I'm expecting, the guy who gets elected will do so by promising the yes voters appointments within the union if they get recalled and kicked out.
I read a rumor that our beloved C44 FO rep is running for the Negotiating committee. It is starting to appear that DALPA is rearranging the deck chairs but when the shell game is over, the same guys will be embedded in some capacity in DALPA again. This can't be allowed to happen and I'm starting to think the only way to make sure it doesn't happen is to just rip the band aid clean off and start fresh with a completely different CBA. I've never been a DPA supporter, but tomorrow my card and a donation is going in the mail. I'm willing to at least give them a chance. I'm going to follow my unions example and at least do my part to put the vote our pilots by sending in a card. They must be close to having enough cards to start the process.
I have no faith in DALPA to represent us and our interests anymore! I'm out!
According to sources, more than two-thirds of that was for FPL for P2P and other individuals for whom the membership is responsible to Delta for the reimbursement of trips dropped.[/Q
I'd like to see it in writing what cost what. If you are right, I'm ready for a change, like a new bargaining agent of my behalf.

With the exception of Tony, (RIP), Curly is the ONLY person I remember from Delta Indoc 25+ years ago!
I guess he was part of the Dalpa welcoming group, but all I remember was he was dressed and acted like a La Cosa Nostra Don!
